2023 Important Audition Information
Arrive at 5445 Red Rock Ln, STE 200, Lincoln, NE 68516 30 minutes early to check in.
Online registration is required for all performers in order to participate in the auditions. Registration will close on Friday, September 13th, 2024. Additional registrations will not be allowed following this time. YOU MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED.
Only those auditioning may enter the building. Drop off only. Parents please return to pick up dancer on time as indoor waiting area for them is not available.
LMBC will follow current Lancaster County Health Department guidelines when determining Covid precautions.
Dancers’ parent/guardian acknowledgement on Medical Authorization & Indemnification when registering is required. Dancers will participate at their own risk.
All auditioners except gymnasts must be at least 8 years old on the day of audition. Gymnasts must be at least 6 years old on the day of audition.
Auditioners must be at least 12 years old to be considered for selection as apprentice dancers and 14 years old to be considered for company dancers.
You must audition with your age group. Your age and grade are determined on the day of the audition.
Lincoln Midwest Ballet Company board policy requires that its artistic staff participate in the audition process and has final approval of judges’ casting decisions.
You will receive an email from lincmidballetco@gmail.com after September 23rd with your audition results. You will have several days to decline your role. If you decline your role/s, you will not be eligible to audition the following year. Please do not call for audition results. Make sure you have not unsubscribed or blocked e-mails from LMBC. If you know you have unsubscribed, please send an e-mail to lincmidballetco@gmail.com and ask to resubscribe.
Please bring a non-returnable photo no larger than 4 x 6 (need not be professional photo, black and white or color) Head and shoulders only. Female’s hair in a bun. Do not write your name on the photo. If you have been cast in LMBC’s Nutcracker previously, write the roles you have danced on the back of your picture. Please do not include understudy parts.
There is a $60 participation fee for each performer cast in The Nutcracker.
