Registration for the 2024 Nutcracker will open on August 19th. 

Ready for your dancing dreams to come to life? The Nutcracker, celebrating 40 years this season, is one of the longest-running and most prestigious performing arts events in Lincoln, and we’d love for you to be a part of the magic!  

Rehearsals will be held most weekends starting Saturday, October 19th through Sunday, December 8th. Your rehearsal schedule and responsibilities will be determined by the role(s) you receive. These rehearsals will take place at 5445 Red Rock Ln, STE 200, Lincoln, NE 68516. 

Please check the 2024 Rehearsal and Costume Fitting Schedule, and your personal commitments before you audition to avoid conflicts that would keep you from fulfilling your responsibilities in LMBC activities.

If you decline any Nutcracker role/s cast by LMBC judges, you will not be eligible to audition the following year for any LMBC production(s).

Auditions will provide opportunities for performers to be accepted into our 2024 production of The Nutcracker. Auditions will take place on September 20th and 21st at 5445 Red Rock Ln, STE 200, Lincoln, NE 68516.  A one-time NON-REFUNDABLE audition fee of $25 is payable when you register online. 

Advance online registration is required. Registrations will close at 11:30 pm on Friday, September 13, 2024. Be sure to register before then as additional registrations at the audition site will not be accepted! YOU MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED.
