Important Information For Nutcracker Auditions

Registration for the 2025 Nutcracker will open on AUGUST 15, 2025.
Ready for your dancing dreams to come to life? The Nutcracker, celebrating 41 years this season, is one of the longest-running and most prestigious performing arts events in Lincoln, and we’d love for you to be a part of the magic!
Rehearsals will be held every weekend day starting Saturday, October 25th through Sunday, December 7th. Your rehearsal schedule and responsibilities will be determined by the role(s) you receive. All rehearsals will take place at 5445 Red Rock Ln, STE 200, Lincoln, NE 68516.
Please check the 2025 Rehearsal and Costume Fitting Schedule, and your personal commitments before you audition to avoid conflicts that would keep you from fulfilling your responsibilities in LMBC activities. If you have a prior commitment that would cause you to miss any rehearsal, please do not audition for The Nutcracker this year. It is imperative that ALL dancers attend ALL rehearsals for the continuity of the production. The only exception made will be for Company Dancers, who also dance on a high school dance team that competes in a regional competition. These dancers will be given a one day absence to compete with their high school.
If you decline any Nutcracker role/s cast by LMBC judges, you will not be eligible to audition the following year for any LMBC production(s).
Auditions will provide opportunities for performers to be accepted into our 2025 production of The Nutcracker. Auditions will take place on September 19th and 20th, 2025 at 5445 Red Rock Ln, STE 200, Lincoln, NE 68516. A one-time NON-REFUNDABLE audition fee of $35 is payable when you register online. You will find the audition schedule, and other information in our cast handbook.
Advance online registration is required. Registrations will close at 11:30 pm on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Be sure to register before then as additional registrations at the audition site will not be accepted! YOU MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED.

A one-time non-refundable audition fee of $35 is payable when you register online. Your PayPal receipt will serve as proof that your registration is complete.
Online registration will end at 11:30 pm on Friday, September 12.
