2014 Camp Curriculum

Camp curriculum includes ballet, pointe, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, turns, jumps and leaps, etiquette for dancers and tumbling and stretch for dancers.

A professional accompanist will provide live piano music in ballet classes.

A minimum of one year of studio dance instruction is required. No audition.

Class levels are determined by age and discretion of the director and the faculty.

Camp is open to all dancers ages 8 and up (age on July 28, 2014). Dancers who are nearly 8, and who have a recommendation from their studio teacher, may be considered for admittance. Studio teachers may send their recommendations to lmbc@artsincorporated.org

This is a day camp. No meals or housing are provided.

Collegiate level instruction offered and welcomed.

A special “How to Audition” workshop will be held Saturday, August 2, to prepare dancers for any audition.

A camp orientation meeting will be held Monday, July 28 at 8:30 a.m.
