Lincoln Midwest Ballet Company dancers have gone on to do amazing things!   This month in our "Alumni Spotlight" we are featuring Kelsey Geibel

Kelsey Geibel danced in LMBC’s Nutcracker from 1999 to 2008. She has too many wonderful memories to pick just one, but her favorite role to perform was Dew Drop. She remembers during the performance having to run off stage in one wing and enter a few counts later in a different wing. Molly Thomas, the stage manager, would give her a gentle push back stage as she rounded the corner so that she could make her entrance on time!

Kelsey is a graduate of Oklahoma City University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in American Dance Pedagogy.  Performance credits include TEXAS the Outdoor Musical Drama in Palo Duro Canyon as a featured dancer/swing, Howl-O-Scream and Christmas Town at Busch Gardens Williamsburg in Virginia as a dancer, and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines traveling to 30 countries in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and South America as a dancer/aerialist.  As well as being an active performer, Kelsey has been a dance instructor, choreographer, and master teacher all over the United States.  Her choreography was featured in CMT’s production of “Annie” in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and at Broadway Dance Center’s Showcase in New York City.
