Summer Dance Camp
Join Lincoln Midwest Ballet Company for some summer dancing under the direction of our 2013 Faculty.
Dance camp will be held Monday, July 29 through Saturday, August 3, 2013 at the
Temple Building on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln city campus. The camp schedule is: 9 am–3 pm, Monday through Friday and Saturday, August 3, 9 am–12 pm. These times are approximate and will be finalized following registration.
Camp curriculum includes ballet, pointe, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, turns, jumps and leaps,and acting. A special “How to Audition” workshop will be held Saturday, August 3, to prepare dancers for any audition. A professional accompanist will provide live piano music in ballet classes. Camp is open to all dancers ages 8 and up (age on July 29, 2013).
All students and a parent/guardian must attend the Orientation Meeting on Monday,
July 29, at 8:30 am. Audition workshop: Saturday, August 3, 9 am–12 pm.
Class levels are determined by age and discretion of the faculty. Collegiate level offered and welcomed.
